Plowshares Theatre Company regards the safeguarding of your personal information and privacy as a serious matter.  This Privacy Policy explains what type of information we collect and what we do with that information in order to allow you to make choices about the way your information is collected and used.  We are committed to the accuracy and security of such information, and that it is used only according to your wishes.  This policy covers Plowshares Theatre Company and the box offices at the venues where our shows are presented.  Those box offices are responsible for the ticketing and audience relations for Plowshares Theatre Company’s productions.

When you either purchase tickets or make charitable donations in support of Plowshares Theatre Company, we collect personal information. This may include your name, address, phone number, email address, and credit card information. We also maintain a record of past ticket purchases, donations, correspondence, and other reasonable information related to fundraising activities.  We collect this information to try to bring you the best possible service and improve the quality of our services.

If you choose to purchase a ticket or membership or choose to receive email from us through our eMail Club, we will collect personally identifiable information about you and your company such as name, address, email address, phone number, type of market, revenue range and other information.  This information is collected to enable us to market additional services.


When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. A key part of protecting your privacy is our ability to enhance our Privacy Policy.  By reviewing and updating our policies we will be able to better protect your personally identifiable information.  Therefore, Plowshares Theatre Company reserves the right to amend this policy on an as-needed basis.  Whenever we change our Privacy Policy we will automatically replace our old policy and prominently include the date the revised policy is effective.  You should access our Privacy Policy regularly to check for updates.
